The app for clubs with S&C or sports-science staff

Know who's ready before they walk in.

A 30-second check-in each morning. One screen before training: who's off their own normal, and why.

How it works

A day with READY/SET

  1. 07:30

    Players check in: 30 seconds

  2. Before training

You see who's ready, and why

  3. After training

    Players rate the session

  4. Every week

    You see the trend

More on how it works
  • The check-in: five quick 1–7 questions, hours slept, and any pain on a body map. No phone? Players use a dressing-room tablet with a 4-digit PIN.
  • The Today screen: Fine, Monitor or Modify for every player, with a one-line reason and a suggested action. Pain reports sit at the top, in red when severe.
  • Load: session RPE × minutes. A missing rating gets a marked estimate from teammates' ratings or the coach's, never a zero.
  • Trends: weekly load, monotony and strain, and 28- and 90-day charts for every player. The acute:chronic ratio is shown in words, as context only, because the research on it is contested.
  • How soon: players who check in every morning get a first status after 5 check-ins and a full baseline after 10, so about two weeks. Squads that only check in on training days take longer.

Pain reported today

Red Player 4

Back of thigh, left · 6 out of 10 · Can train, but not fully

Speak to them before training. Involve the physio if you have one.

Modify

Consider reducing physical demand today (volume or intensity). Your call.

  • Modify Player 2 z 2.31

    Stress 6/7 (usually 3); slept 5–6 h (usually 7–8 h)

  • Modify (soreness 5/7) Player 5 z 1.68

    Soreness 5/7 (usually 2)

Monitor

Have a quick word before training and keep an eye on them.

  • Monitor Player 7 z 1.62

    Stress 5/7 (usually 3), fatigue 4/7 (usually 2)

  • Not checked in yet Player 8
  • Fine Players 1, 3, 4 and 6
Made-up players. Every flag says why, and what to consider today.

Wellness decides. Load explains.

What it gives your staff

Same session, different dose

Modify rarely means rest. Trim one player's load, keep them training.

Fits next to GPS and Kitman

GPS shows what a session asked. READY/SET shows how players coped.

Built for young players' data

Your club owns the data. Parent consent by email. Hosted in the EU.

Data, consent, and what it doesn't do

Data and consent

  • Your club owns the data. The club is the controller and READY/SET the processor, under a data processing agreement. Players only ever see their own answers.
  • Parent consent by email. Under-16s in Ireland and under-13s in the UK can't check in until a parent agrees through an email link.
  • The player's right to stop. A player or parent can stop at any time, and collection stops straight away.
  • An audit log of who viewed or exported player health data.
  • Hosted in the EU (Ireland), with no ads and no third-party analytics.
  • Each club walled off in the database, checked by automated tests that one club can't read another's data.
  • GDPR export and deletion. Export a player's data, delete a player, or delete the whole club.

What it does, and what it doesn't

  • It shows change from each player's normal. A status is how far today's answers are from that player's own last 28 days. It is not a risk score.
  • It depends on honest answers. Players can under-report if they worry it will count against them. Use a flag to start a conversation, not to drop someone.
  • It supports your judgement. READY/SET suggests and the coach decides. Every flag gives its reason in plain English, so you can check it against what you know.
